Found Photo Friday: Elsie Bolcar

It’s the return of Found Photo Friday. This week features 11 slides in found back in 2009 of a woman named Elsie Bolcar from Haledon, New Jersey. I don’t know if these photos were shot for a contest or some other reason, but they show young Elsie in a variety of poses and outfits.

1964 Tournament of Roses Parade

It’s Found Photo Friday….sort of. I know the photographer and when are where these photos were taken. Taken after the Tournament of Roses Parade, when the floats were docked, on January 1, 1964 in Pasadena, California. The photographer was Oscar W. Sjogren. The parade theme for 1964 was SYMBOLS OF FREEDOM.
