This giant cut-out of a Maine Sardine fisherman is an interesting attraction for motorists entering or leaving the state at Kittery. Located on busy Route 1, a few hundred yards east of the Main-New Hampshire bridge, the 40 foot figure impressively remind one of the state’s great sardine canning industry which supplies delicious, healthful Maine Sardines to virtually every city and town in the nation.
