This week Satie gets in to a few more details about her life involving beef slaughter and going to meeting.
Monday, January 8, 1900
A nice day. I went to school and helped Uncle Charlie kill his beef.
Tuesday, January 9, 1900
A nice day. I went to school. Pa went down to the soldiers home with Uncle Charlie to deliver his beef.
Wednesday, January 10, 1900
A stormy A.M. quite a nice P.M. Lot come up to Bath from Lides and stayed all night to Grandmas. I went to school.
Thursday, January 11, 1900
Sure a nice A.M. stormed in the P.M. Pa and Ma went to Bath and got Let. Aunt Zill rode home with. Ed Loghry came up after Aunt Zill. I went to school.

A nice day. I went to school.
Saturday, January 13, 1900
A Nice day . Jim & Addie went to bath and got Aunt Lot & Uncle Nelt and Aunt Rose. Let & Mrs. Warren stayed with the baby.
Sunday, January 14, 1900
A nice day. Snowed nearly all day. Aunt Let & Uncle Nelt & Aunt Rose & Aunt Zill & Addie & the baby & Jim & Uncle Charlie were here to dinner. We all went to meeting but Addie & Jim. Aunt Rose stayed at Aunt Xills. Aunt Zill went down home with us when we nt went down to meeting.
